National Awards recognize all sizes and complexities of projects that deliver:
- Superior performance of project management practices
- Superior organisational results
- Positive impacts on the community/organisation
Eligibility
- Project of any size, type, from any industry, in public or private sectors
- Project originated and managed in Ireland
- Project must be completed within the last two years. The exception is the Distinguished Contribution to Project Management Award which is open to nominees who are at least 10 years in the project management field.
- Application must be submitted in English
- Open to everyone to apply. You do not need to be a member of the Ireland Chapter of PMI or any other professional project management organisation.
- Methodologies. Applications can include adherence to any of the following: PMI, Prince2, IPMA, Agile
Definitions
- Small to medium sized enterprise (SME) is defined as an organisation with 250 or less employees
- Private company is defined as an organisation that is not owned or operated by the government
- Public company is defined as an organisation that is owned or operated by the government or semi-state agency including:
- Civil Service
- Defence sector
- Education sector
- Justice Sector
- Health sector
- Local Authorities
- Non-commercial State Agencies (NCSA)
- Project professional is anyone who leads or contributes to a project any capacity. For example, project co-ordination, director, business analyst etc.
Not-Eligible for nomination
- Committee members of the Ireland Chapter of PMI
- Members of the judging panel
- Sponsors of an award category that they sponsor
