Hi everyone,

It's been a big few weeks for the PMI. It's celebrated it's 50th Birthday in early October and launched a new brand and logo.

I was lucky enough to connect up with Vindy Anderson, VP for Brand Management while at the LIM in Philadelphia just before the new brand was launched. Then, on the day of the launch, I did some roving mic interviews to get a pulse from the congress attendees on what their initial perspectives were of the new logo.

You can hear all of this in this month's episode which I hope you enjoy.

Then we share an interview with Kamil Mroz who is an award-winning project leader. Kamil was recognised at the PMI Congress for his work in advancing project management which we talk about during the interview.

Finally, we caught up with Norma Lynch and Pat Lucey shortly after their stand-out presentation at the congress on influencing without authority.

Welcome to Episode 17 of the Ireland Chapter of PMI Podcast.

In this month's episode, I talk with Nader K. Rad. Nader is a Project Management expert and is av very well respected Author, Speaker and Adviser.

Nader's goal to help organizations and individuals improve their project management systems one step at a time, by the realization of their existing potentials, incorporation of the global best practices, and keeping everything as simple and practical as possible. This is not easy or fast and this is not a one size fits all solution, but it’s possible. Nader's words, not mine.

In this interview, we talk about a set of principals that Nader believes are key for project management across all frameworks. We also discuss Nader's inclusion in working groups on the upcoming PMBOK 7th Edition.

For more about Nader, check him out on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/naderkrad/

Thanks for listening & please do get in touch if you have ideas, feedback, suggestions for the podcast.

Regards,

Rob
